Attending and participating in practical classes in electrical engineering

    Today's internship included attending and participating in practical classes in electrical engineering for the first year.

    As part of the internship, I got acquainted with the local laboratory on the "basics of electrical engineering", as well as with local equipment, and the method of providing laboratory work.

    In the course of participating in practical exercises, I saw how two groups of 5 people each do one laboratory work at the same time, but at the same time, the tasks and roles of each participant in the work are defined in advance.

    I also noticed how seriously students at this school take the implementation of safety regulations when working with electrical equipment.

Attending lessons of electrical installation work

Today's internship included visiting and participating in the classes of the first year group.

As part of the internship, I attended electrical installation lessons, in which I got acquainted with the local methodology for providing lessons on this subject and the tasks that students perform.

Internship progress

 Today's internship included visiting and participating in the lessons of a group of 4th year mechatronics and electronics specialists.

As part of the internship, I attended the lessons of Robotics, Programming of automated systems and Arduino.

During the practical lesson, the students were offered tasks on programming six finite robots based on arduino.

First workday in Osijek

    Our first working day in Osijek began with the organization of transport during our stay in the city. To ensure transport possibilities, local travel cards were issued for a period of a month, with the help of which you can use any public transport in the city free of charge.

    Next, we headed to the factory of the local confectionery manufacturer Karolina, which produces biscuits, waffles and more. At the Karolina plant, we were told about the history of the plant and were told and shown the various stages of production.

    After the excursion ended, we went to the school, where we were first given a tour, and after that we took part in the ongoing lesson and got acquainted with local students participating in the Erasmus + project and learned the peculiarities of the local organization of the exchange process.

Trip to Osijek

    For us, the practice internship in Croatia began at 3 am, on Sunday 7.05. By 4 am, the students and I went to the airport, from where at 5 am we flew to the capital of Poland - Warsaw, from where, after a short transfer, we flew to Zagreb - the capital of Croatia. For some of our students, this was the first flight in their lives.  

    After arriving in Zagreb, using the transfer service, we set out on a 3-hour trip towards the city of Osijek, which is our goal.

    Upon arrival and after accommodation in Osijek, the students and I first had a sightseeing tour of Osijek, and then made the first meeting with a representative of the partner school, during which directions and plans for the period of practice were determined.
